Campus Support for Terror: F
- Columbia campus was the site of dozens of antisemitic demonstrations after October 7, where protesters called for “global Intifada” (violence against Jews) and clamored for Palestine “from the river to the sea” (the destruction of Jews in Israel)
- Immediately after the massacre, over 20 student groups at Columbia endorsed a statement in support of the Hamas terrorist attack, blaming Israel for the violence. This statement by Columbia students approves of the attack which included hideous acts of rape, torture, kidnapping, and the massacre of families in their own homes
- Columbia University never punished its pro-terror, pro-rape students. A hundred Columbia faculty members even signed a public letter in support of those pro-Hamas students.
- Joseph Massad, a professor of Middle Eastern Studies, published a shocking op-ed calling the attack “awesome” and describing it as a day of jubilation for Arabs. Some student rioters at Columbia chanted in support of the Houthi terrorists in Yemen who have attacked American and European ships
- As Columbia students and faculty celebrated the rape, torture, and killing of Jews in Israel, Jewish students found themselves under increasing antisemitic attacks and harassment. After an Israeli student was assaulted on campus, and swastikas were drawn in one of the school buildings, Jewish students at Columbia reported feeling physically unsafe on campus.
- In April 2024, the situation at Columbia got even worse with numerous incidents on campus. A massive new pro-Hamas tent city was built and NYPD cops in riot gear had to move in and raided the unkempt encampment, hauling away at least 108 protesters — some of whom had to be carried away.
- Shai Davidai a Jewish professor at Columbia was barred from campus Monday after he tried to lead a pro-Jewish rally.
- As University protests that promote rampant antisemitism and support anti-America terrorists moved on a rabbi linked to the Ivy League school urged Jewish students to stay home in concern for their safety, the university had to cancel classes in the face of the recent frightening events
