Federal investigations: Back in 2022, the Department of Education began a federal investigation over discriminatory treatment of Jewish students at Berkeley Law School (violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act).

Campus Support for Terror: F

• UC Berkeley was the site of dozens of demonstrations after October 7, where protesters called for “global Intifada” (violence against Jews) and clamored for Palestine “from the river to the sea” (the destruction of Jews in Israel). Over 1,200 people in Israel were raped, tortured, killed and taken hostage by Hamas terrorists – among them at least 40 Americans.
• A prominent anti-Israel student group, Bears for Palestine, praised Hamas terrorists as “brothers in arms” and clamored to “globalize the Intifada”
• Berkeley’s terror supporters did in fact globalize the Intifada by violently attacking Israelis and Jews on campus. On February 26, 2024, dozens of rioters violently attacked a building where an Israeli speaker gave a talk, shattering glass doors and physically assaulting female Jewish students
• Antisemitism at UC Berkeley starts from the top. The university employs a number of known antisemites in its faculty. One of the worst is Hatem Bazian, founder of pro-terror groups American Muslims for Palestine and Students for Justice in Palestine. He was involved with organizations that were found to channel funds for Hamas. Bazian repeatedly spread classic antisemitic myths about Jewish control of the media and encouraged violence against Israelis
• Another antisemitic instructor at Berkeley, Ameer Loggins, abused his authority by humiliating and discriminating against Jewish students in his class. Loggins demanded that Jewish students stand in the corner and called them
