- UC Berkeley was the site of dozens of demonstrations after October 7, where protesters called for “global Intifada” (violence against Jews) and clamored for Palestine “from the river to the sea” (the destruction of Jews in Israel). Over 1,200 people in Israel were raped, tortured, killed and taken hostage by Hamas terrorists – among them at least 40 Americans.
- A prominent anti-Israel student group, Bears for Palestine, praised Hamas terrorists as “brothers in arms” and clamored to “globalize the Intifada”
