- UC Los Angeles (UCLA) was the site of dozens of demonstrations after October 7, where protesters called for “global Intifada” (violence against Jews) and clamored for Palestine “from the river to the sea” (the destruction of Jews in Israel). Over 1,200 people in Israel were raped, tortured, killed and taken hostage by Hamas terrorists – among them at least 40 Americans.
- Some of the “pro-Palestine protests” looked more like barbaric medieval pogroms. In one rally on UCLA campus, rioters beat a piñata representing the Israeli Prime Minister while others cheered “Beat that fucking Jew”. Over recent months, anti-Israel activists on campus have harassed Jewish students and drawn swastikas around campus.
- UCLA faculty also took part in spreading hate. Professors at UCLA have abused their power to disrupt studies, intimidate students and spread lies about Israel. One professor, a known antisemite, spread outrageous lies about Israel and compared it to Nazi Germany.
- Jewish students at UCLA are living in fear, complaining that antisemitic hate towards them has become normalized.
